A Joyful Beginning in Khanpur Nursery
In the heart of Khanpur, nestled in a nursery, I, Creeper, began my journey as a humble creeper. Life in the nursery was a joyous affair, surrounded by fellow plants and the nurturing hands of caretakers.
The Day of Destiny: Chosen by the Executive Team
One fateful day, the executive team, led by Mr. Safdar and Mr. Qasim, arrived. To my trepidation, I and a dear friend were chosen, loaded onto a Suzuki Pickup, uncertain about our destination. Little did we know that destiny had a grand plan for us.
Arrival at Mabali Island: A Warm Embrace
The Suzuki Pickup brought us to Mabali Island, a verdant paradise. The sight of the green resort and the welcoming atmosphere erased our fears. Two gardeners carefully held us as we entered Mabali, greeted by the warmth of other trees and plants. The observation began – if fellow plants were thriving, Mabali seemed a promising home.
Planted with Love: A Special Spot at the Club House Entrance
Selected for the right side of the Club House entrance, I felt a surge of happiness. My childhood friend found a home on the left side. The esteemed core team, Mrs. Nighat Haider and Brig. Haider, played a crucial role in suggesting our planting spots on Feb 26th, 2019, when I was a mere 5 feet tall, a slim and smart creeper.
Chapter 2: Seasons of Growth and Flowering
Witnessing the Passage of Time
From that day forward, I began my journey of growth, witnessing the passage of countless days, nights, and the magic of both sunrises and sunsets. Lucky to feel the gentle touch of moonlight, I thrived under the care of dedicated gardeners.
Blossoming Beauty: The Miracle of Flowering
The enchantment continued as I experienced the wonder of flowering. It was akin to a mother giving birth, and beautiful small yellow flowers adorned my green branches. Guests found joy in capturing moments with me, making photography sessions a regular occurrence.
Chapter 3: A Storm’s Challenge and Resilience
A Stormy Night: A Test of Fortitude
Amidst the tranquility, a storm arrived, testing my resilience. My friend and I struggled to survive, but our wooden supports gave way, and we fell. Fear gripped us as we wondered about our fate.
A New Dawn: Resilience Rewarded
To our surprise, the next morning brought a new beginning. Mabali Resort’s joinery workmen reconstructed us, setting our supporting legs and restructuring our forms. I stood tall once again, proud to defy the storm.
A New Identity: From Gate Décor to the ‘M’ Symbol
Core Team saw opportunity in adversity. No longer just gate décor, I took on a new identity as an ‘M.’ The skilled hands of the gardener shaped me into this new form. The addition of a red bow by Khan Mama, the senior welder, elevated my beauty.
The Mabali Logo: A Symbol of Pride
At Mabali, the ‘M’ in Mabali M became associated with Maheera’s M. I felt a sense of pride being part of Maheera’s M and Mabali M, a testament to our owner’s creativity and resilience.
