Application Type:
There are two types of visas you can apply for online – First Time (New) and Extension. The First Time (New) visa is for those who do not possess a valid Pakistan visa, while the Extension visa is for those who already have a valid visa and are residing in Pakistan.
Required Documents:
To apply for a tourist visa, you’ll need to provide a photograph, passport, and hotel booking details. Make sure all the information you provide is accurate, as any mistakes or discrepancies could lead to delays or rejection.
Duration and Validity:
A tourist visa for Pakistan is typically single entry for a short duration of less than 3 months (for first-time entry). However, citizens from some countries may be eligible for a double entry tourist visa. For visa extensions, the duration can be up to 6 months or more, subject to approval.
Processing Time
Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan. Entry (Up to 3 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
Extension (Up to 6 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
Extension (Greater than 6 Months) :
4 Weeks (Working days) 4 Weeks (Working days – First Time Entry/Visa Extension) (For Afghanistan and Somalia Passport Holders)

Please submit your intent to travel at least 48-72 hours before your planned trip to Pakistan to receive an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) – (Please Note: You can state your intent by submitting online visa application through Pakistan Online Visa System – Click on the Apply Now Button to do so). You can travel to Pakistan if you receive a valid ETA in favor of your application.
Please Note: : An ETA is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Visa application will be cancelled if an applicant does not travel within prescribed period.
Application Type
You can apply for two types of visas online :
First Time (New) : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.
Eligibility

- Foreign nationals of Indian origin are also eligible to apply under this category for religious tourism purposes.
- Tour operators approved by the Pakistan Directorate of Tourist Services (DTS) may be allowed to bring Tourist Groups under this category.

- Invitation Letter by the sponsor or hotel booking details in case of individual tourist
- Invitation Letter in case of group by the tour operator designated by the department of tourist services

- Nationals of Malaysia, Turkey and UAE may be granted a 30-day, multiple-entry visa upon arrival
- ETA is valid for 90 days
Processing Time
Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.

Please Note: : If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).
The Application will stand cancelled if applicant doesn’t resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.
